NASHA MUKT ABHIYAN J&K Police Attach Drug-Trafficking Linked Property in Shopian

 

Anantnag, April 22: As part of its sustained crackdown on narcotics-related activities, the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Shopian has attached a double-story residential house under Khasra No. 58, valued at ₹31,65,577.

The property belongs to Mohd Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Vishroo Payeen, Keller, and was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from illegal drug trafficking. The attachment was carried out in connection with FIR No. 03/2026 registered at Police Station Keller.

The proceedings were conducted in the presence of a duly constituted police team, along with an Executive Magistrate, Lambardar, and Chowkidar, ensuring full compliance with legal procedures and maintaining transparency.
