NASHA MUKT ABHIYAN J&K Police Attach Drug-Trafficking Linked Property in Shopian


Anantnag, April 22: As part of its sustained crackdown on narcotics-related activities, the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Shopian has attached a double-story residential house under Khasra No. 58, valued at ₹31,65,577.
The property belongs to Mohd Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Vishroo Payeen, Keller, and was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from illegal drug trafficking. The attachment was carried out in connection with FIR No. 03/2026 registered at Police Station Keller.
The proceedings were conducted in the presence of a duly constituted police team, along with an Executive Magistrate, Lambardar, and Chowkidar, ensuring full compliance with legal procedures and maintaining transparency.

Shopian Police reiterated its firm commitment to eradicating the drug menace by targeting both offenders and the financial assets derived from illicit activities. The public is urged to come forward with any information related to drug trafficking or narcotics.
