Sopore Police Arrest Three Persons for Spreading Rumours on Social Media

Sopore :In continuation of action against the circulation of rumours on social media, Sopore Police have arrested three persons for spreading misleading information and sharing old videos by portraying them as recent incidents, with the intent to disturb public peace and order

Earlier, FIR No. 93/2026 was registered at Police Station Sopore against individuals involved in spreading rumours through various social media platforms. Acting swiftly, Sopore Police identified and apprehended the involved persons.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
