Srinagar, Sep 3, KNT: Two personnel of Srinagar Police, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were bid farewell on their retirement during a ceremony held at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Srinagar on Thursday.
The retiring personnel were ASI Mohd Yousuf Ganai and Follower Abdul Qayoom Najar, who completed their service with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
SSP Srinagar Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy attended the ceremony and acknowledged the contribution of the retiring personnel during their years of service. He also extended his wishes to them and their families for their post-retirement life.

Senior police officers and officials, including SP Headquarters Umar Shah, DySP Headquarters Syed Sleet Shah and DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad, were present at the farewell.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to both retirees in recognition of their service to the department.
The ceremony marked the formal conclusion of their careers in the police department, with officers and colleagues extending their good wishes to the two retiring personnel. [KNT]
