Sopore, Aug 29: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident involving an i20 car and a motorcycle in the Brath Kalan area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday evening, officials said.
Officials said that, the accident involved an i20 bearing registration number JK06 M 0118 and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05 09328.

He added the biker sustained serious injuries in the collision and was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore for treatment. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
