Woman dies in Central Kashmir road accident

A 55-year-old woman died after hit by a vehicle in Kangan town of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that an i20 vehicle (JKOIX 3794) hit a woman near Preng Kangan resulting to her injuries. She was rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan where she succumbed.

They identified the deceased as Mugli Begum wife of late Muhammad Abdullah Bhat, a resident of Chiner Kangan.

Police have registered a case in this regard after arresting the driver and seizing the vehicle. (KNT)
