Janata Dal-United part of Jammu and Kashmir has extended support to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra which is scheduled to pass through Jammu and Kashmir.
President, JDU for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen told news agency Kashmir News Trust that it is the need of the hour to save the country from divisive forces hell bent to divide society on the lines of religion and creed.
“Secular parties should get united to stop the communal politics being played by the BJP. BJP has ruined this country. For this party power comes first and country second,” he said.

Shaheen said that ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ started by Rahul Gandhi is a ray of hope for those Indians who have lost faith in institutions. “This yatra has spread love and amity and we must support it,” he said. [KNT]
