Rally taken out against Israel in Central Kashmir amid shutdown

Budgam, Oct 2, KNT: Thousands of people gathered in Magam town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam, to protest the recent killing of Syed Hassan Nasrullah in an Israeli airstrike.

The peaceful rally, which began at the Petrol Pump Magam and concluded at Eid Gah, saw participants from various areas condemning Israel’s actions and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani, a former MLA and current candidate for the Beerwah Assembly Constituency, joined the rally. He labelled , Israel as a “terrorist country” that will soon face the consequences for its actions. He said Israel will disappear from the political map of the world for killing innocent people.

People also observed a complete shutdown in Magam and surrounding areas, commemorating the fourth day (Chahrum) of Nasrullah’s passing. [KNT]
