SSP Srinagar Flags Off Bharat Darshan Tour for 84 Students

Srinagar, Aug 6 KNT: As part of its Civic Action Programme, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday flagged off a group of 84 students from Srinagar district for a five-day Bharat Darshan Tour aimed at exposing youth to the cultural and historical richness of the country.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy – IPS, flagged off the tour from District Police Lines (DPL) Srinagar in an impressive ceremony attended by senior police officials, including SP South Zone, SP Headquarters, DySP Headquarters, DySP DAR, and others.
The tour group also includes five caretakers accompanying the students throughout the journey. During the tour, the students will visit the cities of Mumbai and Delhi, where they will explore prominent historical monuments, cultural sites, and national landmarks.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, SSP Srinagar highlighted the objective of the initiative — to promote national integration and provide students with first-hand experience of India’s diversity and unity. He urged the students to make the most of the exposure and carry forward positive learnings from the journey.

The Bharat Darshan Tour is fully sponsored by the J&K Police and includes air travel, accommodation, meals, and other logistical support. Participants have also been provided with track suits, shoes, and travel kits to ensure their comfort and preparedness.
