“All sections of society are joining the campaign. We are trying to make it a mass movement,” SSP Talib said, urging wider public involvement.
The SSP said the administration and police are working to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, describing it as a serious threat to society.
He called for collective efforts to address the issue and to help those affected by substance abuse, while also preventing youth from falling into addiction.
Referring to the campaign, Talib said it should be seen as a sustained effort to mobilise communities against drugs and promote awareness at the grassroots level.
He added that similar programmes and outreach activities would continue in the coming days as part of the broader campaign against drug abuse in the region
