LG Manoj Sinha Reduces Convoy Size Following PM Modi’s Call for Austerity

 

Srinagar, May 13, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has decided to reduce the size of his official convoy by half following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for austerity and fuel-saving measures, officials at the Lok Bhavan said on Wednesday.

According to officials, the decision was taken as part of efforts to promote fuel conservation and adopt austerity measures in official functioning.

The move comes in response to Prime Minister Modi’s recent call emphasizing reduction in unnecessary expenditure and encouraging fuel-saving practices.
