Paras in collaboration with CMERA organize ENT and Skull base conference

Paras Hospital collaborated with Continuous Medical Education & Research Association (CMERA) Kashmir in organizing the first annual national ENT and Skull base conference cum workshop in the auditorium of the Department of Information in Srinagar.

The conference was inaugurated by the Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather. He congratulated organizers for holding this event and wished that delegates would benefit from this conference and workshop.

The conference was attended by delegates across the country including local ENT faculty, Consultants, ENT specialists and postgraduate scholars.

The workshop was  conducted by reputed skull base and rhinologist of India,  Dr Nishit Shah from Bombay Hospital Mumbai, and Dr Virendra Ghaisas a reputed Rhinoplasty surgeon from Ghaisas Hospital Pune. Dr Vijayendra H from Banglore conducted advanced ear surgeries and Dr Manmohan Jagade from MG Hospital Mumbai demonstrated the role of threads in facial palsy.

Other highlights of the conference include  Invited talks by guest faculty members, a panel discussion on parathyroid adenomas by local faculty, and poster presentations by Postgraduate and DNB scholars.

Organizers of the event Dr Danish Andrabi, Dr Bilal Ahmed Raja, Dr Imtyaz Majid Qazi, and Dr Shafaqat Islam thanked the guest faculty delegates, JK Medical Council chairman academics Dr M Iqbal for awarding 8 credit hours,  hospital staff of Paras Health Srinagar,  department of information J&K, sponsors and all volunteers for participating in this  hybrid conference.
