Duo booked under PSA for anti-national activities in North Kashmir’s Baramulla

Police booked duo under the Public Safety Act in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district for the alleged involvement in anti-India activities. The duo as per the police were shifted to Kotbhalwal Jail Jammu.

Baramulla Police identified the duo as Fayaz Ahmad Kumar alias Narshima of Khanpora Baramulla and Safeer Ahmad Bhat alias Safeer Molvi of Janbazpora Baramulla.

Police said that several cases were lodged against the duo who didn’t mend their ways and continued to be a threat to the law and order problem.

Both the persons were arrested and booked under PSA after getting formal detention orders from the competent Authority, the police said adding that they were involved in anti-national and anti-social activities. [KNT]
