Fire Breaks Out in Srinagar Govt Quarter, Police Officer Injured

 

Srinagar, Jan 28, KNT: A fire broke out on Tuesday in a government residential quarter in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, causing partial damage to the building and injuring a police officer.

According to officials, the blaze originated on the second floor of the quarter, which was occupied by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Firefighters managed to reach the scene just in time, preventing the flames from spreading further.

The police officer sustained burn injuries during the incident and was promptly transported to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for medical treatment.
