Landslide at Rattle HEP Site: Swift evacuation saves lives

Kishtwar, Sep 4, KNT: A landslide occurred at the Rattle Hydro Electric Project (HEP) site Drabshalla during the wee hours today, leaving five persons injured and trapped under debris.

On the Directions of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma, swift rescue operations were carried out jointly by the Civil Administration, Police, Project Authorities and the Red Cross team, resulting in successful rescue of all five individuals.

Out of the total 05 injured persons, 03 have been shifted to GMC Doda for specialized treatment, while 02 are receiving medical care at SDH Thathri.
