“Teams are continuing the operation despite difficult terrain and poor weather conditions. The snow depth in the area has made the search challenging,” said an official involved in the rescue effort.
Authorities have advised workers and locals to avoid venturing into avalanche-prone areas as the region continues to witness erratic weather conditions and fresh snowfall in upper reaches. [KNT]
