Srinagar, June 11, KNT: The Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School has firmly denied allegations of mistreating a Class 3 student, Aayat Altaf, following a viral social media post by her father accusing the school of corporal punishment and negligence.

In a statement, Principal Sr. Mary Jarsi clarified that the incident on June 10 was a medical emergency, not misconduct. The student had complained of a headache during class and was taken to the school’s health room. After contacting her father, who advised migraine medication, the child was attended to by health staff and allowed to rest under CCTV surveillance.
