Two Vehicles Collide in Srinagar, One Overturns, Rams Into Wall, Three Injured



Srinagar, Jan 19, KNT: At least three persons were injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles near Gousia Colony Park in the Bemina area of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.

The impact of the collision was severe, with one of the vehicles ramming into a building wall, causing structural damage. A portion of the wall was smashed, leaving a large opening, while debris was scattered at the spot. The other vehicle suffered extensive frontal damage, and one of the vehicles was overturned following the crash.

Locals rushed to the scene immediately after the accident and assisted in the rescue operation before informing the authorities. The injured persons were pulled out of the damaged vehicles and shifted to hospital for treatment. Hospital sources said all the injured are undergoing medical care and their condition is stated to be stable.
