Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai Meets LG Manoj Sinha, Reviews J&K Security Scenario

Srinagar, July 25, KNT: Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy) and Director General Military Operations (DGMO), called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Thursday to discuss the security situation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the high-level meeting, both sides held comprehensive deliberations on the ongoing counter-militancy operations, current border security dynamics, and strategies to ensure long-term peace and stability in the region.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha appreciated the Indian Army’s unwavering dedication, lauding its professionalism in protecting national borders and maintaining internal security. He also commended the Army’s active role in supporting the civil administration and contributing to the welfare of the local population.
