GMC Anantnag Faculty Shines at National Ophthalmology Conference

Anantnag, May 4:Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag has earned national recognition after one of its senior faculty members, Dr. Rayees Ahmad, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, participated prominently in the Delhi Ophthalmological Society Annual Conference 2026.

Dr. Ahmad presented a research paper and delivered a faculty lecture at the prestigious conference, which witnessed participation from leading ophthalmologists across the country.
